ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਤਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਠੀਕ ਹੈ। ਅੱਯੂਬ ਦੇ ਪਾਸ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਹੈ, ਤੂੰ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਜੋ ਚਾਹੇ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਨਾ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਈ।” ਫੇਰ ਸ਼ਤਾਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਚੱਲਾ ਗਿਆ।

ਮੀਕਾਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਖਤਮ ਕੀਤੀ। ਤਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਹੁਣ ਵੇਖੋ! ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਝੂਠਾ ਵਾਕ ਪਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਬੁਰਿਆਈ ਹੀ ਬੋਲਿਆ ਹੈ।”

ਪਰ ਅਬਰਾਮ ਨੇ ਸਾਰਈ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਹਾਜਰਾ ਤੇਰੀ ਦਾਸੀ ਹੈ। ਤੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਜੋ ਚਾਹੇਂ ਸਲੂਕ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦੀ ਹੈਂ।” ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਦਾਸੀ ਨਾਲ ਬੁਰਾ ਸਲੂਕ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਜਰਾ ਘਰੋਂ ਭੱਜ ਗਈ।

ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਉਕਸਾਹਟਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਹਨ ਹਰ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਉਹੀ ਉਕਸਾਹਟਾਂ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹੋ। ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਪਰੱਖਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬਰਦਾਸ਼ਤ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹੋ। ਪਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਕਸਾਏ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਉਕਸਾਹਟ ਤੋਂ ਬਚ ਨਿਕਲਣ ਦਾ ਰਾਹ ਵੀ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਦਾਸ਼ਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ।
ਯੂਹੰਨਾ 19:11

ਯਰਮਿਆਹ 38:5
ਇਸ ਲਈ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ।”

ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਲੋਕ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਆਦਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋ। ਆਦਮੀ ਦਾ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਵੀ ਤੇਰੀ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਬਚੇ ਹੋਏ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
ਅੱਯੂਬ 2:4
ਸ਼ਤਾਨ ਨੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਹਰ ਕਾਸੇ ਦਾ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੁੱਲ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਆਦਮੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੇ ਬਦਲੇ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਉਹ ਦੇਣਦਾਰ ਹੈ।
