ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦਾ ਪਤਨ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਹੋਇਆ: ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਸਿਦਕੀਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਕਾਲ ਦੇ 9ਵੇਂ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ 10ਵੇਂ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਨੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਇਸਦੇ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਘੇਰਾ ਪਾ ਲਿਆ।
