ਪਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਪਛਾਣ ਲੈਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਾਪ ਹੈ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੁੱਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਹਰੇਕ ਹਰੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੁੱਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਸੀ।’” ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸੀ।
