Jeremiah 16:2
“ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਵਿਆਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ। ਇਸ ਥਾਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਧੀਆਂ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ।”

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਲੂਤ ਚੱਲਾ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਜੁਆਈਆਂ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ਾਦੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ, ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਲੂਤ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਛੇਤੀ ਕਰੋ, ਇਹ ਨਗਰ ਛੱਡ ਦਿਓ! ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ!” ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਕਿ ਲੂਤ ਮਜ਼ਾਕ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਲੋਕਾ 21:23
“ਇਹ ਸਮਾਂ ਗਰਭਵਤੀ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਬੜਾ ਵਿਕਰਾਲ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਾਵਾਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਵੀ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਦੁੱਧ ਪੀਂਦੇ ਨਿਆਣੇ ਹਨ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਾੜਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਬੜੇ ਕਰੋਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
ਲੋਕਾ 23:29
ਉਹ ਸਮਾਂ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਲੋਕ ਆਖਣਗੇ, ‘ਧੰਨ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਬਾਂਝ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਕੋਈ ਬੱਚਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਧੰਨ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਦੁੱਧ ਪੀਂਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ।’

“ਇਹ ਵਕਤ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਬੜਾ ਖਰਾਬ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਗਰਭਵਤੀਆਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ ਜਾਂ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਦੁੱਧ ਚੁੰਘਦੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
