Isaiah 51:14
ਕੈਦ ਵਿੱਚਲੇ ਲੋਕ ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਕੈਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਰਨਗੇ ਤੇ ਸੜਨਗੇ ਨਹੀਂ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਭੋਜਨ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

ਯਸਈਆਹ 52:2
ਗਰਦ ਨੂੰ ਝਾੜ ਸੁੱਟ! ਆਪਣੀ ਅਦਭੁਤ ਪੁਸ਼ਾਕ ਪਹਿਨ ਲੈ! ਹੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ, ਸੀਯੋਨ ਦੀਏ ਧੀਏ, ਤੂੰ ਕੈਦੀ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਜ਼ੰਜ਼ੀਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਅਜ਼ਾਦ ਕਰ ਲੈ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਧੌਣ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਹਨ!

ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਨਯਾਮੀਨ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਸਮੂਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਮੰਦਰ ਉਸਾਰਨ ਲਈ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੋ ਗਏ। ਹਰ ਕੋਈ ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਸਭ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੋ ਗਏ।
ਯਸਈਆਹ 49:10
ਲੋਕ ਭੁੱਖੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਪਿਆਸੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਧੁੱਪ ਅਤੇ ਹਵਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੁਚਾਵੇਗੀ। ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਕੂਨ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਝਰਨਿਆਂ ਵੱਲ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
ਯਰਮਿਆਹ 38:6
ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੜ ਕੇ ਮਲਕੀਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਟੋਏ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਮਲਕੀਯਾਹ ਰਾਜੇ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਟੋਆ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਉਸ ਵਰਾਂਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਾਰਦ ਤੈਨਾਤ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਰਸੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਟੋਏ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਟੋਏ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਣੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਸਗੋਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਗਾਰਾ ਸੀ। ਅਤੇ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਗਾਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਖੁਭ ਗਿਆ।
ਰਸੂਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਰਤੱਬ 12:7
ਅਚਾਨਕ ਉੱਥੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਤ ਪਰਗਟ ਹੋਇਆ। ਕਮਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੜੀ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਹੋਈ। ਦੂਤ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਸੇ ਤੋਂ ਛੋਹਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਜਗਾਇਆ। ਦੂਤ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਜਲਦੀ ਕਰ। ਉੱਠ।” ਪਤਰਸ ਦੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਚੋਂ ਜੰਜ਼ੀਰਾਂ ਟੁੱਟ ਗਈਆਂ।
ਯਰਮਿਆਹ 37:16
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਨਾਥਾਨ ਦੇ ਮਕਾਨ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਕੋਠੜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੈਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਕੋਠੜੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਬਣਿਆ ਇੱਕ ਭੋਰਾ ਸੀ। ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਲੰਮੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੀਕ ਓੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਰਿਹਾ।
ਨੂਹ 3:53
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਟੋਏ ਅੰਦਰ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਹਾਲੇ ਮੈਂ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਹੀ ਸਾਂ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਪੱਥਰ ਸੁੱਟੇ।
