Isaiah 47:13
ਤੇਰੇ ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰ ਬਹੁਤ-ਬਹੁਤ ਹਨ। ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਸਲਾਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਕੱ ਗਈ ਹੈਂ? ਤਾਂ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਜ ਜੋ ਤਾਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਹਿਸਾਬ ਲਾਉਂਦੇ ਨੇ। ਉਹ ਦੱਸ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਨੇ ਕਿ ਮਹੀਨਾ ਕਦੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਉਹ ਦੱਸ ਸੱਕਣ ਕਦੋਂ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਮੁਸੀਬਤਾਂ ਆਉਣਗੀਆਂ।

ਨਕਲੀ ਨਬੀ ਝੂਠ ਬੋਲਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਝੂਠ ਨੂੰ ਗ਼ਲਤ ਸਿੱਧ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਜਾਦੂ ਟੂਣੇ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੂਰਖ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਿਆਣਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਲਝਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਸੋਚਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਕੁਝ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੂਰੱਖਾਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਯਰਮਿਆਹ 51:58
ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ: “ਬਾਬਲ ਦੀ ਮੋਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕੰਧ ਢਾਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਸਾੜ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਸਖਤ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕਰਨਗੇ, ਪਰ ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ। ਉਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਬਹੁਤ ਬਕੱ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਅੱਗ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਾਟਾਂ ਦਾ ਬਾਲਣ ਬਣਨਗੇ।”

ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਖਤ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਕੱਦੇ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਨਵੀਂ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਮਿਲੀ ਸੀ, ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਮਾਣੀਆਂ ਸਨ।

ਸਿਆਣੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਦੂਗਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਇੱਥੇ ਕੰਧ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਿਖੀ ਹੋਈ ਇਸ ਇਬਾਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਪੜ੍ਹਨ ਲਈ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਮੈਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਲਿਖਤ ਦਾ ਅਰਬ ਸਮਝਾਉਣ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਕੰਧ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਿਖੀ ਹੋਈ ਇਸ ਲਿਖਤ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਮਝਾ ਸੱਕੇ।
ਦਾਨੀ ਐਲ 5:7
ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਜਾਦੂਗਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਕਸਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਲਾਵਾ ਭੇਜਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸਿਆਣਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਇਸ ਲਿਖਤ ਨੂੰ ਪੜ੍ਹ ਸੱਕੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਸਦਾ ਅਰਬ ਸਮਝਾ ਸੱਕੇਗਾ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਨਾਮ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਰਮਚੀ ਵਸਤਰ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਗਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਨੇ ਦਾ ਹਾਰ ਪਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੀਸਰਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚਾ ਹਾਕਮ ਬਣਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।”

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਆਣੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਾਸ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਿਆਣੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਜਾਦੂ ਟੂਣੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਤਾਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਹਿਸਾਬ ਲਾਇਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਸੁਪਨਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਵਿਆਖਿਆ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਜਾਨਣ ਲਈ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀ ਵਾਪਰੇਗਾ। ਰਾਜਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਬੰਦੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਦੱਸਣ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੀ ਸੁਪਨਾ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁੱਖ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ।
ਹਿਜ਼ ਕੀ ਐਲ 24:12
“‘ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕਰੇ ਸਖਤ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਗ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ। ਪਰ ਉਤਰੇਗਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਜੰਗਾਲ ਉਹ! ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਅੱਗ ਹੀ ਦੂਰ ਕਰੇਗੀ ਉਸ ਜੰਗਾਲ ਨੂੰ।
ਯਸਈਆਹ 47:15
ਹਰ ਉਸ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨਾਲ ਇਹੀ ਕੁਝ ਵਾਪਰੇਗਾ ਜਿਸ ਲਈ ਤੂੰ ਇੰਨੀ ਸਖਤ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਤੂੰ ਵਪਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਉਮਰ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਹਰ ਬੰਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਹ ਚੱਲਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਤੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਬਾਕੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹੇਗਾ।”
