Isaiah 39:2

ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਕੋਲ ਹਲਕਾਰੇ ਭੇਜੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹਲਕਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਅਜਬ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਪੁੱਛ-ਗਿੱਛ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ ਸੀ। ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਆਏ ਤਾਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਤਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਇੱਕਲਿਆਂ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਪਤਾ ਕਰੇ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀ ਹੈ?
੨ ਤਵਾਰੀਖ਼ 32:25
ਪਰ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਰਹਿਮ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਉੱਪਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਕੰਮ ਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸੀ ਕਾਰਣ ਉਸ ਉੱਪਰ, ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਉੱਪਰ ਕਹਿਰ ਭੜਕਿਆ ਸੀ।

“ਬੰਦੇ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਬਹੁਤ ਚਲਾਕ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ! ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮਨ ਰੋਗੀ ਹੋਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਸਮਝੇ।

ਅਮਸਾਲ 4:23
ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਗੱਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਸੋਚਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਸਾਵੱਧਾਨ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਾ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀ ਵਾਪਰੇਗਾ।

ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ-ਜੀਅ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਾਨ-ਵਡਿਆਈ ਮਿਲੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਚਾਂਦੀ, ਸੋਨੇ, ਬਹੁਮੁੱਲੇ ਪੱਥਰ ਅਤੇ ਮਸਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਢਾਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਲਈ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ।

ਤਦ ਸ਼ਬਾ ਦੀ ਰਾਣੀ ਨੇ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਨੂੰ 4,080 ਕਿੱਲੋ ਸੋਨਾ, ਢੇਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਸਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਪੱਥਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਅਜਿਹੇ ਮਸਾਲੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ ਜੋ ਸ਼ਬਾ ਦੀ ਰਾਣੀ ਨੇ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਸਨ।

ਸ਼ਬਾ ਦੀ ਰਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣਾ ਸ਼ਬਾ ਦੀ ਰਾਣੀ ਨੇ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਕੀਰਤੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਝਾਰਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਪਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਆਈ। ਸ਼ਬਾ ਦੀ ਰਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਸਮੂਹ ਵੀ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਊਠਾਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਢੇਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਸਾਲੇ, ਬੜੀ ਤਾਦਾਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਪੱਥਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਈ ਸੀ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਕੇ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਸਭ ਕਾਸੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਤੇ ਸਨ।

ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਬਾਬਲ ਤੋਂ ਆਏ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਸੁਆਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਖਾਈਆਂ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਤੋਸ਼ਾ-ਖਾਨਾ, ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਇਆ ਸੋਨਾ, ਚਾਂਦੀ, ਮਸਾਲੇ, ਖਾਲਸ ਤੇਲ, ਆਪਣਾ ਸ਼ਸਤਰ ਖਾਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਖਜ਼ਾਨਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ, ਵਿਖਾਇਆ।

ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਲਈ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ-ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੋਨੇ-ਚਾਂਦੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਸਤਾਂ, ਕੱਪੜੇ, ਹਥਿਆਰ, ਮਸਾਲੇ ਘੋੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਖੱਚਰਾਂ ਆਦਿ ਲਿਆਉਂਦੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਉਹ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਉਸ ਲਈ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ-ਵੇਖਣ ਲਈ ਆਉਂਦੇ।

ਇਸ ਸਭ ਕਾਸੇ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਉਪਾਰੀਆਂ, ਸੌਦਾਗਰਾਂ, ਅਰਬ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਪਾਲਾਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਸੋਨਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ।

ਤਾਂ ਸ਼ਬਾ ਦੀ ਰਾਣੀ ਨੇ 4,080 ਕਿਲੋ ਸੋਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਢੇਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਸਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਮੁੱਲੇ ਪੱਥਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਜਿੰਨੀ ਤਦਾਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਸਾਲੇ ਸ਼ਬਾ ਦੀ ਰਾਣੀ ਨੇ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੇ, ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਹੋਰ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆਂਦੇ ਜਾਣ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਧੇਰੇ ਸਨ।

ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ, ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਸਾਲਿਆਂ, ਸੋਨੇ ਅਤੇ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਪੱਥਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੱਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਊਠਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਆਈ। ਜਦ ਉਹ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲੀ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚਲੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛੇ।
੧ ਯੂਹੰਨਾ 1:8
ਜੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਸਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਪਾਪ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਮਰਾਹ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਸੱਚ ਸਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
