ਤਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਔਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੂੰ ਕੀ ਕਰ ਬੈਠੀ ਹੈਂ?” ਔਰਤ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਸੱਪ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਗੁਮਰਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਫ਼ਲ ਖਾ ਲਿਆ।”
