ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 12:2
ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਮਹਾਨ ਕੌਮ ਉਸਾਰਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਲੋਕੀਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਵਰਤਣਗੇ।
| And thee make will I | וְאֶֽעֶשְׂךָ֙ | wĕʾeʿeśkā | veh-eh-es-HA |
| of a great | לְג֣וֹי | lĕgôy | leh-ɡOY |
| nation, | גָּד֔וֹל | gādôl | ɡa-DOLE |
| bless will I and | וַאֲבָ֣רֶכְךָ֔ | waʾăbārekkā | va-uh-VA-rek-HA |
| thee, and make thy name | וַֽאֲגַדְּלָ֖ה | waʾăgaddĕlâ | va-uh-ɡa-deh-LA |
| great; | שְׁמֶ֑ךָ | šĕmekā | sheh-MEH-ha |
| and thou shalt be | וֶֽהְיֵ֖ה | wehĕyē | veh-heh-YAY |
| a blessing: | בְּרָכָֽה׃ | bĕrākâ | beh-ra-HA |
