Ezekiel 30:22
ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਮੈਂ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ, ਫਿਰਊਨ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਉਸਦੀਆਂ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਬਾਹਾਂ ਭੰਨ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਬਾਂਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਬਾਂਹ ਵੀ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਟੁੱਟੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਉਸਦੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਡੇਗ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।

ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 37:17
ਕਿਉਂ? ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮਾੜੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਪਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇਕ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਯਰਮਿਆਹ 37:7
“ਇਹੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ: ‘ਯਹੂਕਲ ਅਤੇ ਸਫ਼ਨਯਾਹ, ਮੈਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਸਿਦਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਸਵਾਲ ਪੁੱਛਣ ਲਈ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਹੈ। ਰਾਜੇ ਸਿਦਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਆਖੋ: ਫਿਰਊਨ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੂਚ ਕਰਕੇ ਇੱਥੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਵਾਪਸ ਮਿਸਰ ਚਲੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।

ਆਖ, ‘ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ: “‘ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਫਿਰਊਨ, ਮੈਂ ਹਾਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ। ਤੂੰ ਹੈਂ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਕਰਾਲ ਜੀਵ ਨੀਲ ਨਦੀ ਕੰਢੇ ਲੇਟਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ। ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਤੂੰ, “ਇਹ ਮੇਰੀ ਨਦੀ ਹੈ! ਮੈਂ ਬਣਾਈ ਸੀ ਇਹ ਨਦੀ!”

ਕੌਮਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਨਬੀ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲੇ। ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਹਨ।
ਯਰਮਿਆਹ 46:21
ਮਿਸਰ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਦੇ ਭਾੜੇ ਦੇ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਮੋਟੇ ਵੱਛਿਆਂ ਵ੍ਵਰਗੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਮੁੜਕੇ ਪਿੱਛਾਂਹ ਭੱਜ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਹਮਲੇ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਖਲੋਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿ ਸੱਕਣਗੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਰਬਾਦੀ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ।

“ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਗੁਆਚੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਲਾਸ਼ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਖਿੰਡ ਗਈਆਂ ਸਨ। ਮੈਂ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਟ੍ਟੀਆਂ ਬਂਨ੍ਹਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਕੜੀਆਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੋਟੇ ਅਤੇ ਤਾਕਤਵਰ ਆਜੜੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਓਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੀ ਖੁਰਾਕ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਜਿਸਦੇ ਉਹ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਹਨ।”
