ਆਮੋਸ 2:4
ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਲਈ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਉਂ ਕਿਹਾ: “ਮੈਂ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਕਾਰਣ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਦੰਡ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਆਦੇਸਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅਸੂਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨਿਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਝੂਠੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ’ਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰਨਾ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਹੀ ਰਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਭਟਕਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਇਸਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਛੁਡਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
