ਉਹ ਔਰਤ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦੇਖੀ ਇੱਕ ਮਹਾ ਨਗਰ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਕੂਮਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।”

ਵੱਡਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਤਿੰਨ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਟ ਗਿਆ। ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਗਏ। ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਬੇਬੀਲੋਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਣੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਭੁੱਲਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਕਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਿਆ ਇੱਕ ਮੈਅ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਫ਼ੇਰ ਇੱਕ ਚੌਬਾ ਰਾਜ ਆਵੇਗਾ। ਇਹ ਰਾਜ ਲੋਹੇ ਵਰਗਾ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਲੋਹਾ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੰਨ ਕੇ ਟੋਟੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਓਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ, ਚੌਬਾ ਰਾਜ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੰਨ ਕੇ ਟੋਟੇ-ਟੋਟੇ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
ਦਾਨੀ ਐਲ 7:23
“ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸਮਝਾਇਆ: ’ਚੌਬਾ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਉਹ ਚੌਬਾ ਰਾਜ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਵੇਗਾ। ਇਹ ਹੋਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਖਰਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਚੌਬਾ ਰਾਜ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤ੍ਤਲੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਇਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤ੍ਤਲੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਤਾੜ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਚਲ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।

ਯਿਸੂ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਔਗੁਸਤੁਸ ਕੈਸਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਹ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿ ਸਾਰੇ ਰੋਮ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਰਦੁਮ-ਸ਼ੁਮਾਰੀ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਾਉਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਅਜਗਰ ਦੀ ਪੂਛ ਨੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਤਿਹਾਈ ਤਾਰੇ ਕੱਢ ਲਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਅਜਗਰ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਔਰਤ ਅੱਗੇ ਖਲੋ ਗਿਆ ਜੋ ਜਨਮ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਸੀ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਬੱਚਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਅਜਗਰ ਉਸ ਔਰਤ ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਗਲ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ।
ਪਰਕਾਸ਼ ਦੀ ਪੋਥੀ 18:2
ਦੂਤ ਨੇ ਜ਼ੋਰਦਾਰ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਖਿਆ: “ਉਹ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ। ਬੇਬੀਲੋਨ ਦੀ ਮਹਾਨਗਰੀ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਭੂਤਾਂ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਘਰ ਬਣ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਭ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਆਤਮਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਜਗ਼੍ਹਾ ਬਣ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਬਣ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਹਰ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਪੰਛੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਅਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਅਤੇ ਘ੍ਰਿਣਾਯੋਗ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਬਣ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
