Proverbs 5:23
ਬਦ ਆਦਮੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਅਨੁਸ਼ਾਸਨਹੀਨਤਾ ਕਾਰਣ ਮਰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਬੇਵਕੂਫ਼ੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਮਰਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਨੇਕ ਬੰਦੇ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਹੋਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਭਲਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਮੂਰਖ ਬੰਦਾ ਸੂਝ ਦੀ ਕਮੀ ਕਾਰਣ ਮਰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਜਿਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਫ਼ਾਦਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਕਮੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਆਪਣੇ ਅਮਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਫ਼ਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੋਗਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਇੱਕ ਚੰਗਾ ਆਦਮੀ ਆਪਣਾ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੋਗੇਗਾ।

ਇੱਕ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਆਦਮੀ ਭਟਕ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੁਸੀਬਤ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਵਾਪਰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਇੱਕ ਧਰਮੀ ਆਦਮੀ ਉਦੋਂ ਵੀ ਹੌਂਸਲੇਮੰਦ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਮਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
੨ ਪਤਰਸ 2:15
ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਝੂਠੇ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਹੀ ਰਸਤਾ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਗਲਤ ਰਾਹ ਫ਼ੜ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹੀ ਰਸਤਾ ਫ਼ੜਿਆ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬਿਲਆਮ ਨੇ ਫ਼ੜਿਆ ਸੀ। ਬਿਲਆਮ ਬਿਓਰ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਬਿਲਆਮ ਗਲਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪੈਸੇ ਕੁਮਾਉਣ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਸੀ।
