Nehemiah 13:30
ਮੈਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢ ਕੇ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਬਣਾਇਆ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਫ਼ਰਜਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਂਮੇਦਾਰੀਆਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਕੰਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਉਂਤਾਂ ਹੁਣ ਦਾਊਦ ਬੁੱਢਾ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਸੀ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਠਹਿਰਾਇਆ।
