Exodus 33:11
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੂਸਾ ਨਾਲ ਆਮ੍ਹੋ-ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੂਸਾ ਨਾਲ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਆਦਮੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਮੂਸਾ ਡੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਵਾਪਸ ਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਉਸਦਾ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਤੰਬੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਠਹਿਰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਸੀ ਨੂਨ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੂਆ।

ਪਰਬਤ ਤੋਂ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਉੱਤਰਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਡੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਅਵਤ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੋਰ ਸੁਣਿਆ। ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਹੇਠਾਂ ਡੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਲੜਾਈ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਵਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਆ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਲੱਗਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।”

ਤਾਂ ਮੂਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੂਆ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਪਰ ਗਏ।

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਕੁਝ ਆਦਮੀ ਚੁਣੋ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਕੇ ਕਲ ਨੂੰ ਅਮਾਲੇਕੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰੋ। ਮੈਂ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਦੀ ਚੋਟੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਸੋਟੀ ਫ਼ੜੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਜੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ।”

ਇਸੇ ਲਈ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਪੇਨੀਏਲ ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਇਸ ਥਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਮ੍ਹੋ-ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਬਖਸ਼ੀ ਗਈ।”

ਹਰ ਗੱਲ ਤੋਂ ਪੋਥੀ ਦਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਅਰਥ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਆਖਦੀ ਹੈ, “ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਨੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕੀਤਾ। ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨਿਹਚਾ ਨੇ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਧਰਮੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ।” ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਨੂੰ “ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਮਿੱਤਰ” ਆਖਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ।

ਲਾੜੀ ਕੇਵਲ ਲਾੜੇ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਹੀ ਹੈ। ਲਾੜੇ ਦਾ ਜੋ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਲਾੜੇ ਦਾ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਲਾੜੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਉਦੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਲਾੜੇ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮਿਲੀ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਹੁਣ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹਾਂ।
ਯਸਈਆਹ 42:8

ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਨਮੁੱਖ ਹੋਕੇ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਅੱਗ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ।

ਜਦੋਂ ਵੀ ਮੂਸਾ ਇਸ ਤੰਬੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ, ਇੱਕ ਲੰਮਾ ਬੱਦਲ ਹੇਠਾ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਤੰਬੂ ਦੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਰੁਕ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ। ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੂਸਾ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ।
