ਅਗਲੀ ਸਵੇਰ ਲੋਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਸੁਵਖਤੇ ਉੱਠ ਬੈਠੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਜ਼ਿਬਾਹ ਕੀਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੁੱਖ-ਸਾਂਦ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਵਜੋਂ ਭੇਟ ਕੀਤਾ। ਲੋਕ ਖਾਣ ਪੀਣ ਲਈ ਬੈਠ ਗਏ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਹ ਉੱਠ ਖਲੋਏ ਅਤੇ ਜੰਗਲੀ ਦਾਅਵਤ ਕੀਤੀ।

ਮੋਆਬੀ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਦਮੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆ ਅੱਗੇ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਸੱਦਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਲੀਆ ਦਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਖਾਧਾ। ਉਹ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਪਓਰ ਬਆਲ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗ ਪਏ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
ਖ਼ਰੋਜ 24:4
ਤਾਂ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਇੱਕ ਪੱਤਰੀ ਉੱਪਰ ਲਿਖ ਲਏ। ਅਗਲੀ ਸਵੇਰ ਨੂੰ, ਮੂਸਾ ਉੱਠਿਆ ਪਰਬਤ ਦੀ ਤਰਾਈ ਨੇੜੇ ਇੱਕ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉਸਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਸਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਬਾਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪੱਥਰ ਧਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਬਾਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰੇਕ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਪੱਥਰ।
ਖ਼ਰੋਜ 32:17
ਪਰਬਤ ਤੋਂ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਉੱਤਰਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਡੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਅਵਤ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੋਰ ਸੁਣਿਆ। ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਹੇਠਾਂ ਡੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਲੜਾਈ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਵਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਆ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਲੱਗਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।”
ਕਜ਼ਾૃ 16:23
ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਾਕਮ ਜਸ਼ਨ ਮਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਕੇ ਆ ਗਏ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਦਾਗੋਨ ਅੱਗੇ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਬਲੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਸਾਡੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਸਮਸੂਨ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਡੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।”
ਆਮੋਸ 2:8
ਉਹ ਗਰੀਬ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਲੈ ਕੇ, ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਜਗਵੇਦੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੱਪੜਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਬੈਠ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਉਧਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਪੈਸਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਗਰੀਬ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਜਮਾਨਤ ਵਜੋਂ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਜੁਰਮਾਨੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਪੈਸੇ ਲੈ ਕੇ, ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਮੈਅ ਖਰੀਦ ਕੇ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੀਣ ਲਈ ਵਰਤਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਆਮੋਸ 8:10
ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਛੁੱਟੀਆਂ ਪਰਬਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਵੈਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਭਜਨ ਗੀਤ ਸੋਗੀ ਗੀਤਾਂ ’ਚ ਬਦਲ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਤੇ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਦੇ ਜਿਸਮ ਤੇ ਸੋਗ ਦੇ ਵਸਤਰ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਤੇ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਦਾ ਸਿਰ ਗੰਜਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕਲੌਤੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਸੋਗ ਵਾਂਗ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਭੈੜੇ ਦਿਨ ਜਿਹਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।”

ਤਦ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਵਛੜੇ ਦੀ ਮੂਰਤ ਬਣਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਮੂਰਤ ਦਾ ਬਲੀਦਾਨ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਮੂਰਤ ਬਣਾਕੇ ਬੜੇ ਖੁਸ਼ ਸਨ।
ਪਰਕਾਸ਼ ਦੀ ਪੋਥੀ 11:10
ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੋਕ ਇਸ ਗੱਲੋਂ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਦੋਨੋਂ ਮਰ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਦਾਅਵਤਾਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਗਾਤਾਂ ਭੇਜਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਨਬੀਆਂ (ਗਵਾਹਾਂ) ਨੇ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਹੁਣ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੁੱਖ ਤਕਲੀਫ਼ਾਂ ਲਿਆਂਦੀਆਂ।
