ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਜਾਗ ਪਿਆ। ਉਹ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਪਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਫ਼ਿਰ ਉਹ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮੇ ਦੇ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਖਲੋ ਗਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੁੱਖ-ਸਾਂਦ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈਆਂ ਫਿਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਭ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਕੂਮਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਦਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ, ਦਾਅਵਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ।

ਕੰਧ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਿਖੀ ਲਿਖਾਵਟ ਰਾਜੇ ਬੇਲਸ਼ੱਸਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਇੱਕ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡੀ ਦਾਵਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਰਾਜਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਅ ਪੀ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ।
ਯਸਈਆਹ 21:2
ਮੈਂ ਕੁਝ ਬਹੁਤ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕਿ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਰਹੇਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਦੇਸ਼ ਧ੍ਰੋਹੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਦੇਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਦੌਲਤ ਲੁੱਟਦੇ ਦੇਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਏਲਾਮ, ਜਾਓ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਲੜੋ! ਮਦਾਈ, ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਫ਼ੌਜਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਘੇਰਾ ਪਾ ਲਵੋ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਦਿਓ! ਮੈਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਬਦੀਆਂ ਉਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਮੁਕਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।
ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 40:20
ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੂੰ ਭੁਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਤਿੰਨਾ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਮਗਰੋਂ, ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਦਾ ਜਨਮਦਿਨ ਸੀ। ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਨੌਕਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਾਵਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਦਾਵਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਸਾਕੀ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਨਬਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਕੈਦਖਾਨੇ ਤੋਂ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

“ਤੂੰ ਦੋ ਸਿੰਗਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਇੱਕ ਮੇਢਾ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਸਿੰਗ ਮਾਦੀਆ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਾਰਸ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ ਹਨ।

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਨਿਗਰਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਟਰਾਪ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਕੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਕੋਲ ਗਏ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ: “ਸਦਾ ਸਲਾਮਤ ਰਹੋ, ਰਾਜਾ ਦਾਰਾ ਮਾਦੀ!

ਦਾਨੀਏਲ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਦਾਰਾ ਮਾਦੀ ਨੇ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਕਿ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਾਜ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਕੂਮਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ 120 ਉਪਸ਼ਾਸਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਣਨਾ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
ਦਾਨੀ ਐਲ 5:28
ਉਪਾਰਸਿਨ: ਖੋਹਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਰਾਜ ਤੇਰਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਵੰਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਇਹ ਮਾਦੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਫਾਰਸੀਆਂ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ।”

ਫ਼ੇਰ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਸੂਬੇਦਾਰਾਂ, ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ, ਰਾਜਪਾਲਾਂ, ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰਾਂ, ਖਜਾਨਚੀਆਂ, ਨਿਆਂਕਾਰਾਂ, ਹਾਕਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਕੇ ਆਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਖਿਆ। ਰਾਜਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ, ਰਾਜੇ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਬੁੱਤ ਦੀ ਸਮਰਪਨ-ਰਸਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਉਣ।
ਯਰਮਿਆਹ 51:11
ਆਪਣੇ ਤੀਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਿੱਖੇ ਕਰੋ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਤਸ਼ਕਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਰ ਲਵੋ! ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮਾਦੀ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਲੂਣਾ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹ ਨੂੰ ਹਲੂਣਾ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਬਾਬਲ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰਨਾ ਲੋਚਦਾ ਹੈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਸਦੇ ਉਹ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਹਨ। ਬਾਬਲ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਅੰਦਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਮੰਦਰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਸਦੇ ਉਹ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਹਨ।

ਫਾਰਸ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਕੋਰਸ਼ ਇਉਂ ਫੁਰਮਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ: ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਾਜ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਮੰਦਰ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਹੈ।
