Deuteronomy 32:25
ਸੜਕਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਤਲ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਘਟਨਾਵਾਂ ਵਾਪਰਨਗੀਆਂ। ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਗੱਬਰੂਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਟਿਆਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦੇਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਜੁਆਕਾ ਅਤੇ ਬੁਢਿਆਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦੇਣਗੇ।

ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਆਪਣੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਖਲੋਤਾ ਹੈ। ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਬੀਮਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੌਤ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਬਾਹਰ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਤਾਂ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਜੇ ਉਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਅੰਦਰ ਠਹਿਰੇਗਾ, ਤਾਂ ਭੁੱਖ ਅਤੇ ਬੀਮਾਰੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ।

“ਮੇਰੇ ਵੱਲ ਦੇਖੋ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੈਂ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਂ ਮੇਰਾ ਢਿੱਡ ਕੜ-ਕੜ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਮੇਰਾ ਦਿਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਪੁਠ੍ਠਾ ਹੋਇਆ-ਹੋਇਆ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮੇਰ ਦਿਲ ਇੰਝ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਿਦ੍ਰੋਹੀ ਰਹਿ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਹ੍ਹਾਂ। ਬਾਹਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਕੱਟੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਘਰ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਵੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੀ ਹੈ।

ਬਚੇ ਹੋਏ ਲੋਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਆਤਮ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਹਾਰ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਹਰ ਚੀਜ਼ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਨਗੇ। ਹਵਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਉਡਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਪੱਤੇ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਡਰਾ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ। ਉਹ ਭੱਜਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਡਿੱਗ ਪੈਣਗੇ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਪਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਭਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਯਰੂਸਲਮ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ। ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜੁਆਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਵੱਢ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਨਾ ਜੁਆਨ ਨਾ ਕੁਆਰੀ, ਨਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਬੁੱਢੇ ਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਾਲੇ ਤੇ ਤਰਸ ਖਾਧਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਯਸਈਆਹ 30:16
ਤੁਸੀਂ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਵਾਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਭੱਜ ਜਾਵੋਗੇ। ਪਰ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਤੇਜ਼ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
ਯਰਮਿਆਹ 9:21
ਮੌਤ ਆ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਮੌਤ ਸਾਡੀਆਂ ਖਿੜਕੀਆਂ ਬਾਣੀਂ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਮੌਤ ਸਾਡੇ ਮਹਿਲਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਆਈ। ਮੌਤ ਗਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੇਡਦਿਆਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਈ ਹੈ। ਮੌਤ ਸਾਡੇ ਗੱਭਰੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਈ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਪਰ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਮਿਲਦੇ ਨੇ।”
ਨੂਹ 2:19
ਉੱਠੋ! ਵੈਣ ਪਾ ਲੈ ਰਾਤ ਵੇਲੇ! ਰਾਤ ਦੇ ਹਰ ਪਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੈਣ ਪਾ ਲੈ! ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਲ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਾਂਗਰਾਂ ਉਲਦ੍ਦ ਦੇ! ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਲ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਉਲਟ ਦੇ! ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅੱਗੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਚੁੱਕ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ ਲਵੇ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖ ਕਿ ਤੇਰੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ ਲਵੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ, ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗਲੀਆਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਭੁੱਖ ਕਾਰਣ ਬੇਹੋਸ਼ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਨੇ।
ਨੂਹ 4:4
ਨਿਆਣੇ ਦੀ ਜੀਭ ਪਿਆਸ ਨਾਲ ਤਾਲੂ ਨਾਲ ਲੱਗ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਛੋਟੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਰੋਟੀ ਮੰਗ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੰਦਾ।

ਜਦੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਮਕਦੂਨਿਯਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਏ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਅਰਾਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਿਆ। ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਔਕੜਾਂ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਸਾਡੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਲੜਾਈਆਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਡਰ।
