Acts 26:1
ਪੌਲੁਸ ਰਾਜਾ ਅਗ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਅਗ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਨੇ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੋਲਣ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਹੈ।” ਤਾਂ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਨਾਲ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਨਣ ਦਾ ਇਸ਼ਾਰਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਆਖਣ ਲੱਗਾ।

ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਗੈਰ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਯਸਾਯਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਅਖਵਾਈ ਪਰ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਸਾਰਾ ਦਿਨ ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਕੌਮ ਦਾ ਇੰਤਜਾਰ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸਾਂ ਜੋ ਅਣ- ਆਗਿਆਕਾਰੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਅਨੁਸਰਣ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।”
ਰਸੂਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਰਤੱਬ 26:2
“ਹੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਅਗ੍ਰਿਪਾ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਹੋਕੇ ਅੱਜ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪਨੂੰ ਬੜਾ ਭਾਗਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਾਏ ਗਏ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਲਜ਼ਾਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ।
ਰਸੂਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਰਤੱਬ 25:16
ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਆਖਿਆ, ‘ਇਹ ਰੋਮੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਚਿਰ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਪਣੇ ਤੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਲਾਏ ਦੋਸ਼ਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਅਵਸਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ।’

ਪੌਲੁਸ ਦਾ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੋਲਣਾ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਰਾਵੋ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਤਾਓ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸੁਣੋ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਫ਼ਾਈ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।”

ਕੀ ਸਾਡੀ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਣੇ ਬਿਨਾ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਠਹਿਰਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ?

ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਵਿਵਾਦ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਆਪਣਾ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਕਰੇ ਸਹੀ ਪੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੁੰਦਾ, ਪਰ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਪਰੀਖਿਆ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਸੁਣਿਆਂ ਜਵਾਬ ਦੇਵੇ, ਮੂਰਖ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ! ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਭੱਤੇ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਹਿੱਸਾ (ਜ਼ਮੀਨ) ਖੋਹ ਲਿਆ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਧੀਆਂ (ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ) ਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਮਨ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਕਰਨ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਉਹ ਵੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਮੰਦਿਆਂ ਕਾਰਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਸਨ।
