ਅਬਸ਼ਾਲੋਮ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਤੋਂ 200 ਆਦਮੀ ਤੁਰੇ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸੱਦਿਆ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਪਤਾ ਕਿ ਉਸਦਾ ਵਿੱਚਾਰ ਕੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਖਬਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ।

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲੇ ਜਾਵੋ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭ ਲਵੋਂਗੇ। ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਲਦੀ ਚੱਲੇ ਜਾਵੋਂ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਸੱਕੋਂਗੇ ਕਿਤੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦੇਰ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੋ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਵਾਲੀ ਥਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਭੋਜਨ ਕਰਨ ਚੱਲਾ ਜਾਵੇ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਬਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਉਹ ਨਾ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ ਲੋਕ ਖਾਂਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਲਦੀ ਚੱਲੇ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪੈਗੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਸੱਕੋਂਗੇ।”

ਇਹ ਕੋਈ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਮੈਂ ਪਰੇਮਸ਼ੁਰ ਅੱਗੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ। ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੰਬੰਧੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੁਹਮਤ ਨਾ ਲਗਾ। ਅਸੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਤਾ ਕਿ ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ?”
ਪੈਦਾਇਸ਼ 20:5
ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਨੇ ਖੁਦ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ, ‘ਇਹ ਔਰਤ ਮੇਰੀ ਭੈਣ ਹੈ।’ ਅਤੇ ਔਰਤ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ, ‘ਇਹ ਆਦਮੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਭਰਾ ਹੈ।’ ਮੈਂ ਨਿਰਦੋਸ਼ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਤਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਕੀ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸਾਂ।”

ਬਲੀ ਲਈ ਯੱਸੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਉਂਤਾ ਦੇ ਦੇਵੀਂ। ਫ਼ਿਰ ਅਗਾਂਹ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਾਂਗਾ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਬਾਰੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਦਿਖਾਵਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਸਹ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਕਰੀਂ।”

ਆਮ ਲੋਕ ਜੋ ਵੀ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਹਨ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਸਿਆਣਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹਰ ਚੀਜ਼ ਬਾਰੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਸੋਚ ਵਿੱਚਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਦੁਸ਼ਤ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਖਤਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਕੇ ਇਸਤੋਂ ਬਚ ਨਿਕਲ ਦਾ ਹੈ ਇੱਕ ਆਮ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਚੱਲਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਟ ਖਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਲੋਕ ਸਾਡੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮਸੀਹ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ, ਉਹ ਤਾਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਖੁਸ਼ ਰੱਖਣ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਭੋਲੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਭਰਮੀ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ਾਮਦ ਭਰੇ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੁਮਰਾਹ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
