ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ਵਾਹਕ ਨੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਅੰਮੋਨ ਦੇ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਤੇ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਹਮਲਾ ਬੋਲ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਤੱਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਗਰ ਲੱਗੇ ਰਹੇ।

All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them.

the words	כָּל	kāl	kahl
of my mouth	אִמְרֵי	ʾimrê	eem-RAY
righteousness; in are	פִ֑י	pî	fee
there is nothing	אֵ֥ין	ʾên	ane
froward	בָּ֝הֶ֗ם	bāhem	BA-HEM
or perverse	נִפְתָּ֥ל	niptāl	neef-TAHL

prevailed	עָלֵ֙ינוּ֙	ʿālênû	ah-LAY-NOO
against	הָֽאֲנָשִׁ֔ים	hāʾănāšîm	ha-uh-na-SHEEM
us, and came out	וַיֵּֽצְא֥וּ	wayyēṣĕʾû	va-yay-tseh-OO
unto	אֵלֵ֖ינוּ	ʾēlênû	ay-LAY-noo
field, the into us	הַשָּׂדֶ֑ה	haśśāde	ha-sa-DEH
and we were	וַנִּֽהְיֶ֥ה	wannihĕye	va-nee-heh-YEH
upon	עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם	ʿălêhem	uh-lay-HEM
unto even them	עַד	ʿad	ad
the entering	פֶּ֥תַח	petaḥ	PEH-tahk
