ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਨੇਮ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਯੋਸੀਯਾਹ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਆਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਖਿਆ।

ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਉੱਠਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਸਰਦਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਗਲੀ ਸਵੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆਂ।

ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਰਦਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਤੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਸਭਾ ਨੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਸਹ ਮਨਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ।

ਤਦ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਸਭਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੋਲ ਬੁਲਾਈ।
