2 Kings 21:18
ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਜਦੋਂ ਮਰਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਮਰਨ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਹੀ ਦਫ਼ਨਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਘਰਦੇ ਬਾਗ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਦਫ਼ਨਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਜੋ ਕਿ “ਉੱਜ਼ਾ ਦਾ ਬਾਗ਼” ਕਹਾਉਂਦਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਉਸਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਆਮੋਨ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗਾ।

ਆਮੋਨ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਜ਼ਾ ਦੇ ਬਾਗ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਦਫ਼ਨਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਉਸਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯੋਸੀਯਾਹ ਨਵਾਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਬਣਿਆ।

ਯਹੋਰਾਮ ਜਦੋਂ ਸਿੰਘਾਸਣ ਤੇ ਬੈਠਾ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ 32 ਵਰ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ 8 ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਪਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਮਰਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੁੱਖੀ ਜਾਂ ਉਦਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਇਆ। ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ’ਚ ਦਫ਼ਨਾਇਆ ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੈਸੀਆਂ ਕਬਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾ ਦਫ਼ਨਾਇਆ ਜੈਸੀਆਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਫ਼ਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ, ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਦਫ਼ਨਾਇਆ। ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਥੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਦਫ਼ਨਾਇਆ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਕਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਬੜੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਭਲਾਈ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜ ਕੀਤੇ।

ਜਦੋਂ ਅਰਾਮੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਯੋਆਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡਿਆ, ਉਹ ਬੁਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਸੀ। ਯੋਆਸ਼ ਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਸ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਹੋ ਗਏ। ਉਹ ਯੋਆਸ਼ ਦੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਯਾਦਾ ਜਾਜਕ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਜ਼ਕਰਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਸੀ। ਯੋਆਸ਼ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਬਿਸਤਰ ਤੇ ਹੀ ਵੱਢ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ। ਜਦੋਂ ਯੋਆਸ਼ ਮਰਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ’ਚ ਦਫ਼ਨਾਇਆ, ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਕਬਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾ ਦਫ਼ਨਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ।
੨ ਤਵਾਰੀਖ਼ 28:27
ਜਦੋਂ ਆਹਾਜ਼ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋਈ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਦਫ਼ਨਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਹਾਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਫ਼ਨਾਇਆ। ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਹਾਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਥੇ ਨਾ ਦਫ਼ਨਾਇਆ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਕਿ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਫ਼ਨਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਆਹਾਜ਼ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਸਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਨਵਾਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਬਣਿਆ।

ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਦੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੌਤ ਹੋਈ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਦਫ਼ਨਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਬਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉੱਚੇ ਥਾਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਦਬਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਉੱਪਰ ਉਸਦਾ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਉਸਦੀ ਥਾਂ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗਾ।
ਯਰਮਿਆਹ 22:19
ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਯਹੋਯਾਕੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਦਫ਼ਨ ਕਰ ਦੇਣਗੇ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਖੋਤੇ ਨੂੰ ਦਫ਼ਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਨੇ। ਉਹ ਉਸਦੀ ਲਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਧੂਹ ਕੇ ਲੈ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਉਸਦੀ ਲਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਦਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਸੁੱਟ ਦੇਣਗੇ।
