ਕੁਝ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਯਹੋਸ਼ਾਫ਼ਾਟ ਅਹਾਬ ਕੋਲ ਸਾਮਰਿਯਾ ਨੂੰ ਗਿਆ ਤੇ ਅਹਾਬ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਲਈ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਗਊਆਂ ਦੀ ਬਲੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਅਹਾਬ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਸ਼ਾਫ਼ਾਟ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਮੋਥ ਗਿਲਆਦ ਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ।

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਲਿਕ ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਣ ਅਤੇ ਉਦਾਸ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਆਖੇਗਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਮਿੱਤਰਾਂ ਲਈ। ਲੋਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਰ ਮੁਨਾ ਦੇਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਦਾਸੀ ਦੇ ਵਸਤਰ ਪਾ ਲੈਣਗੇ।
ਨਹਮਿਆਹ 13:6
ਜਦੋਂ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ ਮੈਂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਵਕਤ ਮੈਂ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਕੋਲ ਗਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਮੈਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਰਤਹਸ਼ਸ਼ਤਾ ਦੇ ਬਤ੍ਤੀਵੇਂ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਾਬਲ ਕੋਲ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਵਾਪਸ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਮੰਗੀ।

ਤਦ ਹਨਾਨੀ ਗੈਬਦਾਨ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯੇਹੂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਿਲਣ ਲਈ ਨਿਕਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਤੂੰ ਬੁਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ? ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੋਕ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਘਿਰਣਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ? ਇਹੀ ਕਾਰਣ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਿਤ ਹੈ।
੨ ਸਲਾਤੀਨ 9:1
ਅਲੀਸ਼ਾ ਦਾ ਨੌਜੁਆਨ ਨਬੀ ਨੂੰ ਯੇਹੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਸਹ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਅਲੀਸ਼ਾ ਨਬੀ ਨੇ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਟੋਲੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਦ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਆਪਣਾ ਆਪ ਕੱਸ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਲ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਕੁੱਪੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਮੋਥ-ਗਿਲਆਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਹ।

ਉਸਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਤੀਜੇ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਯਹੋਸ਼ਾਫ਼ਾਟ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਹਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਲਈ ਆਇਆ।
੧ ਸਲਾਤੀਨ 17:7
ਕੁਝ ਸਮੇਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਨਾਲਾ ਸੁੱਕ ਗਿਆ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਮੀਂਹ ਨਾ ਪਿਆ।

ਬਨ-ਗ਼ਬਰ ਰਾਮੋਥ ਗਿਲਆਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਗਿਲਆਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਾਈਰ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਜੋ ਗਿਲਆਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਰਗੋਬ ਦੇ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਬਾਸ਼ਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ। ਭਾਵ 60 ਵੱਡੇ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਲੀਸ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਿੱਤਲ ਦੇ ਅਰਲਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਨ।

ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਜ਼ੋਹਲਥ ਪੱਥਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਜੋ ਐਨ-ਰੋਗੇਲ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਹੈ, ਅਦੋਨੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਕੁਝ ਭੇਡਾਂ, ਗਊਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੋਟੇ-ਮੋਟੇ ਪਸ਼ੂ ਵੱਢੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਭਾਵ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਅਫ਼ਸਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਦਿਆ।

ਜਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਨੂਹ ਨੇ ਕਿਸ਼ਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ, ਲੋਕ ਖਾਂਦੇ-ਪੀਂਦੇ, ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਆਹੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸਨ। ਪਰ ਤਦ ਹੜ੍ਹ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਭ ਲੋਕ ਖਤਮ ਹੋ ਗਏ।
