ਅਬੀਯਾਹ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਵਿੱਚ 4,00,000 ਬਹਾਦੁਰ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਸਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਲੜਾਈ ਦੇ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਤਰਿਆ। ਯਾਰਾਬੁਆਮ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਵਿੱਚ 8,00,000 ਬਹਾਦੁਰ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਸਨ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਅਬੀਯਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਯੁੱਧ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
