੧ ਸਮੋਈਲ 3:15
ਸਵੇਰ ਹੋਣ ਤੀਕ ਸਮੂਏਲ ਬਿਸਤਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਲੇਟਿਆ ਰਿਹਾ। ਉਹ ਸਵੇਰ-ਸਾਰ ਉੱਠਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਖੋਲੇ। ਸਮੂਏਲ ਇਸ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਏਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਦਿਆਂ ਡਰਦਾ ਸੀ।

And Samuel	וַיִּשְׁכַּ֤ב	wayyiškab	va-yeesh-KAHV
lay	שְׁמוּאֵל֙	šĕmûʾēl	sheh-moo-ALE
until	עַד	ʿad	ad
the morning,	הַבֹּ֔קֶר	habbōqer	ha-BOH-ker
opened and	וַיִּפְתַּ֖ח	wayyiptaḥ	va-yeef-TAHK
	אֶת	ʾet	et
the doors	דַּלְת֣וֹת	daltôt	dahl-TOTE
house the of	בֵּית	bêt	bate
of the Lord.	יְהוָ֑ה	yĕhwâ	yeh-VA
And Samuel	וּשְׁמוּאֵ֣ל	ûšĕmûʾēl	oo-sheh-moo-ALE
feared	יָרֵ֔א	yārēʾ	ya-RAY
to shew	מֵֽהַגִּ֥יד	mēhaggîd	may-ha-ɡEED
Eli	אֶת	ʾet	et
	הַמַּרְאָ֖ה	hammarʾâ	ha-mahr-AH
the vision.	אֶל	ʾel	el
	עֵלִֽי׃	ʿēlî	ay-LEE
