ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਨੇ ਅਮਾਲੇਕੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਇਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਹਵੀਲਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸ਼ੂਰ ਦੇ ਲਾਂਘੇ ਤੀਕ ਜੋ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਹੈ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਿਆ।
