1 Peter 3:7
ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਤੀਓ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਪਤਨੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਹਿਮਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਤਨੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਹਨ। ਉਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਸੀਸਾਂ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।

ਪਤੀਓ, ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਪਤਨੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਵੇਂ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰੋ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਮਸੀਹ ਨੇ ਕਲੀਸਿਯਾ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਮਸੀਹ ਕਲੀਸਿਯਾ ਲਈ ਮਰਿਆ ਸੀ।

ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹਰ ਕੋਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਾਬੂ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਸਿੱਖ ਲਵੇ। ਆਪਣੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਦਾ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਉਸ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਕਰੋ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਿਕਾਰਯੋਗ ਹੈ।

ਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਉਹ ਹੱਕਦਾਰ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਉਹ ਹੱਕਦਾਰ ਹੈ।

ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਟੋਏ ਦਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਪੀਓ। ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਗਲੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾ ਵਗਣ ਦਿਓ।

ਗੁਪਤ ਸੱਚ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਗੈਰ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਕੋਲ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਹਨ। ਗੈਰ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਇੱਕੋ ਸਰੀਰ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਹਨ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਵਾਇਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਗੈਰ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਕੋਲ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਖੁਸ਼ਖਬਰੀ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਹਨ।
ਮੱਤੀ 19:3
ਕੁਝ ਫ਼ਰੀਸੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਤਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਕੇ ਬੋਲੇ, “ਕੀ ਇਹ ਇੱਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਰ੍ਹਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਕਾਰਣ ਲਈ ਤਲਾਕ ਦੇ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।”
