ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਲੜਾਈ ਵੱਧ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਰਾਮੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਰੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਥੰਮਿਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਰਾਮ ਦੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਵੱਲ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ, ਉਸਦਾ ਲਹੂ ਵਗ-ਵਗ ਕੇ ਰੱਥ ਦਾ ਤੱਲਵਾਂ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਭਰ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਹੋਣ ਤੱਕ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ।
