ਮਰਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸਨ ਮਹਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਸ਼ੀ। ਇਹ ਲੇਵੀ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਸਨ:

| Mushi. and | וּמֻשִׁ֑י | ûmušî | oo-moo-SHEE |
| And these | וְאֵ֛לֶּה | wĕʾēlle | veh-A-leh |
| families the are | מִשְׁפְּח֥וֹת | mišpĕḥôt | meesh-peh-HOTE |
| of the Levites | הַלֵּוִ֖י | hallēwî | ha-lay-VEE |
| according to their fathers. | לַאֲבֹתֵיהֶֽם׃ | laʾăbōtêhem | la-uh-voh-tay-HEM |
