1 Chronicles 28:6
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ‘ਦਾਊਦ! ਤੇਰਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਮੰਦਰ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਆਸ-ਪਾਸ ਦਾ ਖੇਤਰ ਉਸਾਰੇਗਾ। ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਉਸਦਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਹਾਂ।

ਪਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਘਰ ਇੱਕ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਜੋ ਅਮਨ ਪਸੰਦ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚੌਗਿਰਦੇ ’ਚ ਪਸਰੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਰੇਸ਼ਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਸੁੱਖ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਤੇ ਅਮਨ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ।
੧ ਤਵਾਰੀਖ਼ 17:11
ਜਦ ਤੂੰ ਮਰ ਜਾਵੇਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਮਰ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਵੇਂਗਾ ਤਦ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਤੇਰੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਵਾਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਬਣਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਇਹ ਨਵਾਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਸਦਾ ਰਾਜ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਬਣਾਵਾਂਗਾ।
੨ ਤਵਾਰੀਖ਼ 1:9
ਸੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦਾਊਦ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੀ ਧੂੜ ਜਿੰਨੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ।
ਜ਼ਿਕਰ ਯਾਹ 6:12
ਫ਼ਿਰ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੂਆ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖ: ‘ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਉਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਸੀ। ਇੱਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਸ਼ਾਖ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਤਾਕਤਵਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਮੰਦਰ ਬਣਾਵੇਗਾ।
ਇਬਰਾਨੀਆਂ 3:3
ਜਦੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਘਰ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੀ ਘਰ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਯਿਸੂ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੀ ਇਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਹੈ। ਯਿਸੂ ਦੀ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਮੂਸਾ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਧੇਰੇ ਹੋਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਇਬਰਾਨੀਆਂ 3:6
ਪਰ ਯਿਸੂ ਵਫ਼ਾਦਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ। ਅਸੀਂ ਨਿਹਚਾਵਾਨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਘਰ ਹਾਂ। ਜੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਆਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਣੇ ਰਹੀਏ ਜੋ ਇੰਨੀ ਮਹਾਨ ਹੈ, ਫ਼ੇਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਘਰ ਹਾਂ।
ਇਬਰਾਨੀਆਂ 4:5
ਅਤੇ ਪੋਥੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਜਗ਼੍ਹਾ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਰਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੜਨਗੇ।”
