ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਕੈਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੀ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਉੱਤੇ ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰਨੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖੀ। ਕੁਝ ਸਮੇਂ ਬਾਦ, ਕੈਦਖਾਨੇ ਦੀ ਗਾਰਦ ਦੇ ਕਮਾਂਡਰ ਨੇ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੂੰ ਪਸੰਦ ਕਰਨਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੁਣੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਮਿਸਰ ਚੱਲੇ ਗਏ। ਉਹ ਤਹਪਨਹੇਸ ਕਸਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਏ।
