Numbers 8:7
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਕੁਝ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਾਪ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਦਾ ਖਾਸ ਪਾਣੀ ਛਿੜਕੋ। ਇਹ ਪਾਣੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਬਣਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਦੇ ਵਾਲ ਮੁੰਨਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਧੋਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ।

| shave them let and them, | חַטָּ֑את | ḥaṭṭāt | ha-TAHT |
| וְהֶֽעֱבִ֤ירוּ | wĕheʿĕbîrû | veh-heh-ay-VEE-roo | |
| all | תַ֙עַר֙ | taʿar | TA-AR |
| their flesh, | עַל | ʿal | al |
| wash them let and | כָּל | kāl | kahl |
| their clothes, | בְּשָׂרָ֔ם | bĕśārām | beh-sa-RAHM |
| and so make themselves clean. | וְכִבְּס֥וּ | wĕkibbĕsû | veh-hee-beh-SOO |
| בִגְדֵיהֶ֖ם | bigdêhem | veeɡ-day-HEM | |
| וְהִטֶּהָֽרוּ׃ | wĕhiṭṭehārû | veh-hee-teh-ha-ROO |
