ਸ਼ਮਾਦਾਨ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ: ਇਹ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਸੁਨਿਹਰੀ ਆਧਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਸੁਨਿਹਰੀ ਫ਼ੁੱਲਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੇ ਪੱਤਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਉਸੇ ਨਮੂਨੇ ਦਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਖਾਇਆ ਸੀ।

ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕਾਰਜ ਇਹ ਜਾਜਕ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਵਰਗੀ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਕਲ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਛਾਵਾਂ ਮਾਤਰ ਹਨ। ਇਹੀ ਕਾਰਣ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੂਸਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਖੈਮਾ ਉਸਾਰਨ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ। “ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਉਸੇ ਨਮੂਨੇ ਤੇ ਬਨਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਾਇਆ ਸੀ।”

Hebrews 9:23
ਮਸੀਹ ਦਾ ਬਲੀਦਾਨ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਇਹ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਅਸਲੀ ਸਵਰਗੀ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਕਲ ਹਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਡੰਗਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਬਨਾਉਣਾ ਜਰੂਰੀ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਸਵਰਗ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਸਲੀ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਲੋੜੀਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
