Numbers 21:16
ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਥਾਂ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਏਰ ਵੱਲ ਚੱਲੇ ਗਏ। ਇਹ ਖੂਹ ਵਾਲੀ ਥਾਂ ਸੀ। ਇਹੀ ਉਹ ਥਾਂ ਸੀ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ, “ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਕਰਕੇ ਇੱਥੇ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਣੀ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।”

| spake | יְהוָה֙ | yĕhwāh | yeh-VA |
| unto Moses, | לְמֹשֶׁ֔ה | lĕmōše | leh-moh-SHEH |
| Gather together, | אֱסֹף֙ | ʾĕsōp | ay-SOFE |
| the people | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| הָעָ֔ם | hāʿām | ha-AM | |
| and I will give | וְאֶתְּנָ֥ה | wĕʾettĕnâ | veh-eh-teh-NA |
| them water. | לָהֶ֖ם | lāhem | la-HEM |
| מָֽיִם׃ | māyim | MA-yeem |
