Nehemiah 13:17
ਮੈਂ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਸੱਜਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਝਿੜਕਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਇਹ ਕਿਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਬਦੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਬਤ ਦੀ ਮਹਾਨਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰਕੇ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਮ ਦਿਨ ਵਾਂਗ ਬਣਾ ਰਹੇ ਹੋਂ।

Nehemiah 13:25
ਤਾਂ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਗਲਤ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗਾਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੱਢੀਆਂ। ਕਈਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਕੁਟਿਆ ਵ੍ਵੀ ਤੇ ਕਈਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਾਲ ਵੀ ਪੁੱਟ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੌਂਹ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੁੰਡਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਨਾ ਦਿਓ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਿਆਹ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਨਾ ਕਰਿਓ।

Jeremiah 22:2
‘ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣ। ਤੂੰ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਤਖਤ ਤੋਂ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸੁਣ। ਹੇ ਰਾਜੇ, ਤੈਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਣਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਿਆਂ ਬਾਣੀਂ ਲੰਘਦੇ ਹੋ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਸੁਣਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
Jeremiah 13:18
ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਰਾਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਰਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸੋ, “ਆਪਣੇ ਤਖਤਾਂ ਉੱਪਰੋਂ ਉਤਰ ਆਵੋ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਤਾਜ਼, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਿਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੋਂ ਡਿੱਗ ਪਏ ਨੇ।”

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਕੋਲ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਅਵੱਸ਼ ਹੀ, ਆਗੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਮਾਰਗ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪੱਕ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਨੇਮ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਨੇ।” ਪਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਆਗੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਸਨ।
Isaiah 1:10
ਸਦੂਮ ਦੇ ਆਗੂਓ ਸੁਣੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੈਗਾਮ ਨੂੰ। ਤੁਸੀਂ, ਅਮੂਰਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਬਿਵਸਬਾ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣੋ!
Proverbs 28:4
ਜਿਹੜੇ ਲੋਕ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ, ਬਦ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੇ ਜ਼ੁਲਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Psalm 82:1
ਆਸਾਫ਼ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਗੀਤ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਭਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਖਲੋਂਦਾ। ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਭਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਤੇ ਕਾਬੂ ਪਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਮੈਂ ਸੱਜਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਕਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਗਾਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਜ਼ਾ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਆਜ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਮਜਬੂਰ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ।” ਫਿਰ ਮੈਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਇੱਕ ਸਭਾ ਲਈ ਇਕੱਠਿਆਂ ਕੀਤਾ।
