ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਭਲਾ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪੋਥੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੜ੍ਹਿਆ: ‘ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪੱਥਰ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਨਾਮੰਜ਼ੂਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਖੂੰਜੇ ਦਾ ਸਿਰਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਰਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਅਚੰਭਾ ਹੈ।’
