ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਸ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਭਾਲਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ।

ਧਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਿਰਭਰ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੋ “ਛੋਟੇ ਇੱਜੜ, ਡਰ ਨਾ! ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੇਰਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਰਾਜ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਯਿਸੂ ਦਾ ਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ “ਸਾਵੱਧਾਨ ਰਹੋ, ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚੰਗੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰੋ, ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਨਾ ਵਿਖਾਓ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਵੱਲ ਧਿਆਨ ਦੇਣ। ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ, ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਵਰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਕੁਝ ਫ਼ਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰੋਗੇ।
Matthew 5:47
ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੋਸਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਚੰਗਾ ਵਰਤਾਓ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਚੰਗੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ। ਕੀ ਕੁਧਰਮੀ ਵੀ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ?
