Leviticus 6:12
ਪਰ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਦੀ ਅੱਗ ਬਲਦੀ ਰੱਖਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਝਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹਰ ਸਵੇਰ ਜਾਜਕ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੱਕੜਾਂ ਪਾਉਣੀਆਂ ਚਾਹੀਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਮ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਨੂੰ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸੁੱਖ-ਸਾਂਦ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਦੀ ਚਰਬੀ ਸਾੜ ਦੇਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।
