ਇਹ ਨੇਮ ਇਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਲੋਕ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਸੁੱਖ-ਸਾਂਦ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਕੋਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਉਣ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲਈ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਤੰਬੂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਦੁਆਰ ਦੇ ਨਜ਼ਦੀਕ ਜਾਜਕ ਕੋਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਉਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਇਹ ਨੇਮ ਇਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਲੋਕ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਸੁੱਖ-ਸਾਂਦ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਕੋਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਉਣ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲਈ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਤੰਬੂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਦੁਆਰ ਦੇ ਨਜ਼ਦੀਕ ਜਾਜਕ ਕੋਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਉਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ।
