ਪਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਗਿਦਾਊਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਸ਼ਾਂਤ ਹੋ ਜਾ! ਭੈਭੀਤ ਨਾ ਹੋ! ਤੂੰ ਮਰੇਂਗਾ ਨਹੀਂ!”

And the Lord	וַיֹּ֨אמֶר	wayyōʾmer	va-YOH-mer
said	ל֧וֹ	lô	loh
unto him, Peace	יְהוָ֛ה	yĕhwâ	yeh-VA
fear thee; unto be	שָׁל֥וֹם	šālôm	sha-LOME
not:	לְךָ֖	lĕkā	leh-HA
thou shalt not	אַל	ʾal	al
die.	תִּירָ֑א	tîrāʾ	tee-RA
	לֹ֖א	lōʾ	loh
	תָּמֽוּת׃	tāmût	ta-MOOT
