ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲ ਗਏ। ਉਹ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਤੱਕ ਰੋਂਦੇ ਰਹੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, “ਕੀ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਬਿਨਯਾਮੀਨ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਨ ਲਈ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ? ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਸਾਡੇ ਸੱਕੇ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਹਨ।” ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਜਾਓ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਕੇ ਜੰਗ ਕਰੋ।” ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਲਾ ਸ਼ੇਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਹ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਵਾਂਗ ਦੋਬਾਰਾ ਲੜਨ ਲਈ ਗਏ।

ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲ ਗਏ। ਉਹ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਤੱਕ ਰੋਂਦੇ ਰਹੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, “ਕੀ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਬਿਨਯਾਮੀਨ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਨ ਲਈ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ? ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਸਾਡੇ ਸੱਕੇ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਹਨ।” ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਜਾਓ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਕੇ ਜੰਗ ਕਰੋ।” ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਲਾ ਸ਼ੇਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਹ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਵਾਂਗ ਦੋਬਾਰਾ ਲੜਨ ਲਈ ਗਏ।
