Judges 18:31
ਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਉਹੀ ਬੁੱਤ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮੀਕਾਹ ਨੇ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਬੁੱਤ ਦਾਨ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਪੂਰੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਘਰ ਸ਼ੀਲੋਹ ਵਿਖੇ ਸੀ।

ਲੇਵੀ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਅਸੀਂ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਬੈਤਲਹਮ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਆਏ ਹਾਂ। ਅਸੀਂ ਘਰ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੂਰੋਂ, ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਦੇ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ, ਬੈਤਲਹਮ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਅਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।

ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਅਲਕਾਨਾਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਰਾਮਾਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਸ਼ੀਲੋਹ ਵੱਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਅਲਕਾਨਾਹ ਸ਼ੀਲੋਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਰਬਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਥਾਂ ਸ਼ੀਲੋਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੀ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਹਾਫ਼ਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ੀਨਹਾਸ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਏਲੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸਨ ਉੱਥੇ ਜਾਜਕ ਵਜੋਂ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ।

ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਰੱਖੋ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਤਸਵ ਵੇਲੇ ਮੁਟਿਆਰਾਂ ਨਾਚ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਸ਼ੀਲੋਹ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਆਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਅੰਗੂਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਗਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਛੁੱਪੇ ਹੋਏ ਹੋ, ਬਾਹਰ ਭੱਜ ਆਓ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹਰੇਕ ਜਣੇ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੀਲੋਹ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਮੁਟਿਆਰ ਫ਼ੜ ਲੈਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੁਟਿਆਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਨਯਾਮੀਨ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਲੈ ਜਾਇਓ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰ ਲਿਉ।

ਤਾਂ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ ਸ਼ੀਲੋਹ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਜੇ ਗਏ, ਉਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਦਾ ਨੇਮ ਦਾ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਲੈ ਆਏ। ਸੰਦੂਕ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਰੂਬੀ ਫ਼ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਤਖਤ ਵਾਂਗ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਬੈਠਦਾ। ਏਲੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹਾਫ਼ਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ੀਨਹਾਸ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਆਏ।
Jeremiah 7:12
“‘ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕੋ, ਹੁਣ ਸ਼ੀਲੋਹ ਦੇ ਕਸਬੇ ਵੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਓ। ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਾਓ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮ ਲਈ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਘਰ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਮੰਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ। ਜਾਓ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਖੋ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੰਦੇ ਅਮਲਾਂ ਕਾਰਣ ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਦਾ ਕੀ ਹਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।
