Judges 13:3
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਦੂਤ ਮਾਨੋਆਹ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋਇਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੇਰੀ ਹਾਲੇ ਤੀਕ ਔਲਾਦ ਨਹੀਂ। ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਗਰਭਵਤੀ ਹੋਵੇਂਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦੇਵੇਂਗੀ।

| and said | וַיֹּ֣אמֶר | wayyōʾmer | va-YOH-mer |
| unto | אֵלֶ֗יהָ | ʾēlêhā | ay-LAY-ha |
| her, Behold | הִנֵּה | hinnē | hee-NAY |
| now, | נָ֤א | nāʾ | na |
| thou | אַתְּ | ʾat | at |
| art barren, | עֲקָרָה֙ | ʿăqārāh | uh-ka-RA |
| and bearest | וְלֹ֣א | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| not: | יָלַ֔דְתְּ | yāladĕt | ya-LA-det |
| conceive, shalt thou but | וְהָרִ֖ית | wĕhārît | veh-ha-REET |
| and bear | וְיָלַ֥דְתְּ | wĕyāladĕt | veh-ya-LA-det |
| a son. | בֵּֽן׃ | bēn | bane |
