ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉੱਤਰੀ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਆਕੋਰ ਦੀ ਵਾਦੀ ਤੋਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਦਬਿਰ ਤੱਕ ਚਲੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਉੱਥੋਂ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਉੱਤਰ ਵੱਲ ਮੁੜ ਗਈ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਗਿਲਗਾਲ ਤੱਕ ਚਲੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਗਿਲਗਾਲ ਉਸ ਸੜਕ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਅਦੋਮੀਮ ਦੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਤੋਂ ਹੋਕੇ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਝਰਨੇ ਦੇ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਪਾਸੇ ਵੱਲ ਹੈ। ਸਰਹੱਦ ਏਨਸ਼ਮਸ਼ ਦੀ ਧਾਰਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਚਲੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਸਰਹੱਦ ਏਨ ਰੋਗੇਲ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਾਕੇ ਖਤਮ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਸੀ।

ਸਿਵਾ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਚਿਰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਰਾਜੇ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਡੂੰਘਾ ਅਤੇ ਚੌੜਾ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਓੱਥੇ ਲੱਕੜੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਗ ਦਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਢੇਰ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਆਤਮਾ ਬਲਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਗੰਧਕ ਦੀ ਨਦੀ ਵਾਂਗ ਆਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਾੜ ਸੁੱਟੇਗਾ।

Jeremiah 19:11
ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖੀ: ‘ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੀ ਕੌਮ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਯਰੂਸਲਮ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਭੰਨ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਦਾ ਘੜਾ ਭੰਨਦਾ ਹੈ! ਇਹ ਘੜਾ ਮੁੜ ਕੇ ਸਾਬਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸੱਕਦਾ। ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੀ ਕੌਮ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੀ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਮੁਰਦਾ ਲੋਕ ਤੋਂਫੇਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੱਬੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਚਿਰ ਉੱਥੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਬਣ ਲਈ ਹੋਰ ਕਮਰੇ ਨਾ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਣ।
Jeremiah 19:6
ਹੁਣ ਲੋਕ ਇਸ ਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੋਂਫਬ ਅਤੇ ਬਨ-ਹਿੰਨੋਮ ਦੀ ਵਾਦੀ ਸੱਦਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਇਹ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹੈ: ਉਹ ਦਿਨ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਜਦੋਂ ਲੋਕ ਇਸ ਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਤਲ ਦੀ ਵਾਦੀ ਆਖਣਗੇ।

ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਬਨ-ਹਿੰਨੋਮ ਦੀ ਵਾਦੀ ਅੰਦਰ ਤੋਂਫਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਉੱਚੀਆਂ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਉਸਾਰ ਲਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਧੀਆਂ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਤਲ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ-ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਵਜੋਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਉਹ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਮੈਂ ਕਦੇ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਗੱਲ ਤਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਆਈ!
2 Chronicles 33:6
ਉਸ ਨੇ ਬਨ-ਹਿੰਨੋਮ ਦੀ ਵਾਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਲੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾੜਿਆ। ਉਹ ਕਾਲਾ ਜਾਦੂ (ਭਵਿੱਖ ਬਾਣੀ) ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਥ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਭੂਤ-ਮ੍ਰਿਤ, ਜਾਦੂਗਰ ਅਤੇ ਜੋਤਸ਼ੀ ਸਨ। ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਤੇ ਬੜਾ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਸੀ।

ਆਹਾਜ਼ ਨੇ ਬਿਨ ਹੀਨੋਮ ਦੀ ਵਾਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਧੂਪਾਂ ਧੁਖਾਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾੜ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਲੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉੱਥੋਂ ਦੇ ਨਿਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਹੀ ਘਿਨਾਉਣੇ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਜਦੋਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉੱਥੋਂ ਦੇ ਨਿਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਕੱਢ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।

ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਯੋਨਾਥਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਹੀਮਅਸ ਏਨ-ਰੋਗੇਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਜਕ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਉਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਉਣਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਇੱਕ ਨੌਕਰਾਨੀ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਕੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਖਬਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਤਾਂ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਯੋਨਾਥਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਹੀਮਅਸ ਉੱਥੋਂ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀ ਖਬਰ ਦਾਊਦ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਜਾ ਦੱਸੀ।

ਪਰ ਲੇਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਰਾਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੁਕਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਖੋਤਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਾਠੀਆਂ ਪਾਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਨੌਕਰਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਲ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਯਬੂਸ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਤੱਕ ਦਾ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਕੀਤ। ਯਬੂਸ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦਾ ਦੂਜਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੈ।

ਬਿਨਯਾਮੀਨ ਦਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਯਬੂਸੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਛੱਡਣ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਿਆ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਯਬੂਸੀ ਲੋਕ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਿਨਯਾਮੀਨ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਲੜਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ। ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਤਲਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਾੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਯਬੂਸੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੱਢ ਸੱਕੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਅੱਜ ਤੱਕ ਵੀ ਉੱਥੇ, ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ, ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਯਬੂਸੀ ਲੋਕ ਰਹਿ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।
