ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਅਦੋਨੀ ਸਦਕ ਨੇ ਹਬਰੋਨ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਹੋਹਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਰਮੂਥ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਫ਼ਿਰਾਮ, ਲਾਕੀਸ਼ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਯਾਫ਼ੀਆ ਅਤੇ ਅਗਲੋਨ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦਬੀਰ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ,

ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਅਗਓਨ ਤੋਂ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਹਬਰੋਨ ਚੱਲੇ ਗਏ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਬਰੋਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
