ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਸ਼ੁਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਮੁਕਾਇਆ। ਪਰ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣਾ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਬੰਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਛੁਪ ਜਾਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਫ਼ਲ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਕੰਧਾਂ ਸਨ। ਇਹ ਆਦਮੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਰੇ।
