ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਜੇਕਰ ਮੈਂ ਗਲਤ ਬੋਲਿਆ ਹਾਂ, ਤਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਦੱਸ ਮੈਂ ਕੀ ਗਲਤ ਬੋਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਜੇਕਰ ਮੈਂ ਸਹੀ ਬੋਲਿਆ ਹਾਂ, ਤਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਕੁੱਟਿਆ ਹੈ?”

ਪੌਲੁਸ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਉਚਿਤ ਠਹਿਰਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਮੈਂ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਹਾਂ ਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਕੋਮਲਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਮਸੀਹ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਦਲੀਲ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ ਇਹ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਹਲੀਮੀ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਦਲੇਰ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
1 Peter 2:20
ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਗਲਤ ਕਰਨੀ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਲੋੜ ਨਹੀਂ। ਪਰ ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚੰਗੇ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਬਰ ਨਾਲ ਤਸੀਹੇ ਝੱਲ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹੋ, ਫ਼ੇਰ ਇਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
