John 11:10
ਪਰ ਜੋ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਰਾਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲਦਾ ਹੈ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਠੋਕਰ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਰੋਸ਼ਨੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।”

ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਕਰੋ। ਉਸਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰੋ ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਹਨੇਰਾ ਪਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਹਾੜੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੋਂ ਡਿੱਗ ਪਵੋਁ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਖਲੋਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਦਾ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ, ਉਸਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰੋ। ਪਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਅੰਧਕਾਰ ਲਿਆਵੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਗੂੜੇ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਬਦਲ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
Jeremiah 20:11
ਪਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਗ-ਸੰਗ ਹੈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਡਿੱਗ ਪੈਣਗੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਨੇ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਉਣਗੇ ਨਹੀਂ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਅਸਫ਼ਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਨਿਰਾਸ਼ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਸ਼ਰਮਸਾਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦਗੀ ਨੂੰ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਭੁੱਲਣਗੇ।

ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਉਸ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਗਲਤ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਾ ਸੱਕੇਗੀ।
Psalm 27:2
ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਲੋਕ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਵੱਢਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਮੇਰੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਔਕੜਨਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਡਿੱਗਣਗੇ।

ਪਰ ਧਰਮੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਰਾਹ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਤ ਦੀ ਰੋਸ਼ਨੀ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਪੂਰਾ ਦਿਨ ਚੜ੍ਹ੍ਹਨ ਤੀਕ ਉਜਵਲ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਇਹ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੈ: ਸਿਆਣਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਮਾਗ਼ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਵਾਂਗੂ ਦੇਖਣ ਲਈ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕਿੱਧਰ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਮੂਰਖ ਓਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੂਰਖ ਬੰਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਆਣਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਅਖੀਰੀ ਇੱਕੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਅੰਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚਦੇ ਹਨ।
