Jeremiah 51:47
ਇਹ ਸਮਾਂ ਅਵੱਸ਼ ਆਵੇਗਾ-ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਝੂਠੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਸ਼ਰਮਸਾਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਓੱਥੇ, ਉਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਲੀਆਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਮੁਰਦਾ ਲੋਕ ਪਏ ਹੋਣਗੇ।

| of Babylon: | בָבֶ֔ל | bābel | va-VEL |
| whole her and | וְכָל | wĕkāl | veh-HAHL |
| land | אַרְצָ֖הּ | ʾarṣāh | ar-TSA |
| shall be confounded, | תֵּב֑וֹשׁ | tēbôš | tay-VOHSH |
| and all | וְכָל | wĕkāl | veh-HAHL |
| slain her | חֲלָלֶ֖יהָ | ḥălālêhā | huh-la-LAY-ha |
| shall fall | יִפְּל֥וּ | yippĕlû | yee-peh-LOO |
| in the midst | בְתוֹכָֽהּ׃ | bĕtôkāh | veh-toh-HA |
